At the CSCProject, we believe we have something unique to offer the podcast world, given that our interview style is non-directive, allowing conversations to unfold naturally and organically--much in the same way that conversations transpire between strangers during travel or on the street. We believe that people are inherently interesting, that everyone has a story worth telling, and that there is always wisdom to be found in witnessing another’s vulnerability. Much of what we are noticing in the current podcast world is that people are being interviewed for their long list of accomplishments and accolades. While our project is not created in opposition to such spaces, we believe in initiating more conversations that support people’s inherent desire to be heard.
The CSCProject Podcast will host such colloquial conversation in much of the same way we have done through our performance soundscape: putting a call out for storytellers, narrators, provacators, and vocalists to contribute to a specific topic that has been crafted for each series.
